Having tried various Thai restaurants in Nha Trang and sampled multiple dishes at Ngo Ri, I can confidently say that Ngo Ri stands out as an incredibly Thai and delectable option, especially when compared to other options available in Nha Trang.  

Located in the heart of the city, the restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere with Thai-inspired decor.  

The menu at Ngo Ri Thai Restaurant is extensive, featuring a wide variety of traditional Thai dishes that are both flavorful and authentic. From classic appetizers such as spring rolls and tom yum soup to main courses like pad thai and green curry, each dish is made with the freshest ingredients and bursting with flavor.  

PAD THAI

Pad Thai is a classic non-spicy dish that is very satisfying to eat. Ngo Ri's version is far from boring. Although I am not usually a fan of thick noodles, I was convinced after trying this dish. It may not look appealing at first glance, but the taste is delicious. I would give this dish 9 points out of 10.  

TOMYUM

Tom Yum is a traditional soup that is very popular in Thailand. It is a spicy soup made with fresh seafood and spices that create a sour and spicy taste. The dish also includes the creaminess of coconut milk and herbs. It can be served with vermicelli or rice.    
 

GREEN CURRY WITH CHICKEN

Green curry with chicken is another must-try dish. Ngo Ri offers green and red curry that are fragrant and creamy, made with pork, chicken, beef, or shrimp (depending on customer preferences) and accompanied by eggplant, cowpea, and, of course, coriander leaves for decoration. This mildly spicy dish served with hot rice is sure to fill your stomach. I would rate this dish 9.5 out of 10. The total bill for four people is included.

Krua Thai by Nha is a covered outdoor dining space with many trees around, creating an airy and cozy atmosphere. It's an ideal spot for couples or families to gather for a meal. Prices at Krua Thai by Nha are also cheaper than at Ngo Ri. Both owner and chef Krua Thai by Nha are Thailand. As you know, Thai food must be spicy to be delicious, so you know what is waiting for you - real super spicy! 🤪

Krua Thai offers a diverse menu of traditional Thai dishes that are both flavorful and authentic. From classic starters like spring rolls and tom yum soup to mains like pad Thai and green curry, the menu has something for everyone. We ordered the set menu for 299k, which was enough for three people.

TOMYUM

One of the must-try dishes at Krua Thai is the Tom Yum soup, a combination of fresh seafood and spices that creates a sour, spicy, and strong taste. The addition of greasy coconut milk and herbs gives the dish a unique flavor. Unlike at Ngo Ri, the Tom Yum soup at Krua Thai has a clean, sour taste and no fishy aftertaste.

PAD THAI

Pad Thai at Krua Thai may not be as visually appealing as at Ngo Ri, but the quality is just as good. The eggs at Ngo Ri are thinner, but the taste of both dishes is very similar.

RAW SHRIMP SALAD

Another dish worth trying is the Thai-style raw shrimp salad, also known as Thai shrimp salad. It's a famous dish in Thailand with a sour, spicy, fatty, fresh, and sweet taste of raw shrimp meat. If you're a fan of spicy food, this is a must-try dish. The first taste is pungent and very spicy, followed by a sour taste, and finally the sweetness of raw shrimp meat.

MANGO STICKY RICE

To end your meal on a sweet note, try the mango sticky rice. The sticky, white rice is eaten with a piece of ripe, sweet, and juicy yellow mango. The dish is topped off with fragrant and creamy coconut milk. It's a signature dish that's sure to make you want more.
